Dear Fran,

 How are you? I'm very happy with your warm scarf as you see in this picture. I feel much colder than in London, and fortunately this scarf makes me much warmer, which especially contains your warm heart.

 Also I'm very impressed with your letter which encourages my family including me to do well in the future and your handwriting reminds me of your unforgetable life in Korea. 

 

 

Our Long History...

 I met you in Chico in 1992 for the first time. At that time I was so tied up with many tedious works as a treasurer and you helped me with many things very kindly...That year you came to Korea like a drama and we had had a wonderful time making 'English Forum' with you, our teacher for ten years. After that you came back to your home, and as for now, ten years have passed since you returned to your country...Wow... it's twenty years since we met.

 

  Time flies like an arrow. Do you think so? I hear time flies by our ages. When we were in twenties, time flied by 20km/h. Then when in forties, it flied by 40km...But when in seventies, it flies by 70km...right?

 Take care of yourself and keep healthy all the time. I miss you, too and I hope we're able to see you again in 4 years. Then I have a plan to travel to Grand Canyon in western America when I'm 61 years old. As you know, that age has a special meaning in Korea. I think of you very often.
