Hello Mr. 박,

I was so happy when I received your email! Your pictures are very nice also! Thank you for sending me all of these updates. I'm so sorry to hear that you hurt your leg! Is it feeling better these days? I think you must have been playing volleyball very hard and leading your team to victory when you got hurt. Am I right? I can't imagine any other explanation for your injury! Anyway, I hope you will recover very soon.

I am so excited to hear that 양보현 과 양지원 won the Ban Ki Moon competition and that they will come to New York. That is really wonderful and I am so proud of them! When will they visit New York? I would like to meet them if possible and give them my congratulations in person!!

And you will be traveling to England soon too. Congratulations on your successful application! Are you looking forward to that experience? Be careful not to catch the British accent ㅋㅋㅋ.

I know that things have been very busy at Sannam High School and also that the 수능 has just happened a few days ago. How did the 고삼 학생들 do on the test? Do you think they did very well? Will some of them go to the SKY universities this year?? I hope they were very successful!

I am glad that Jessica Teacher is doing well also. I have emailed with her a little and she tells me she is doing well! It is a great idea to teach the challenged students. I think that is a really good thing.

Here in Washington, D.C. I am doing very well! I am working very very hard (some days, I am working after 11pm at night). But I am helping with some very important projects, research, writing, events, and initiatives of my government so I am proud to do my work.

Actually you are right that I attended the event where your president, 이명박 and his wife, 김윤옥 visited the White House. He made a great speech and talked about the friendship between the USA and Korea. I had a great time being there. In fact, because I can speak some Korean, the White House asked me to greet the Korean diplomats and their families, and welcome them to the White House! So, I prepared for that by practicing my formal Korean greeting and 인사 so I would make a good impression. I think that went very well. It was very rainy and wet but we enjoyed the special occasion anyway!

Did your son pass his exam to become a math teacher? I hope that he did! How are 교장 과 교감선생님들? How are the other teachers doing? Please say hello to everyone for me and tell them I am thinking of them!

I really miss you too but I'm sure we will meet again (maybe we can go hiking in New York!) some day.

Best,  Amy

Hello~

Miss Amy Larsen...

How have you been?

I bet that you have been doing quite well in the White House.

I think you must be very busy everyday trying your best in your jobs.

You did that when you stayed here in Korea.

That made me more diligent and active in my daily life.

Last time our president Lee Moungbak visited your country and signed together with Abama in the yard of the House.

That day it was rainy and many reporters and officials joined with their umbrellas.

Then I thought you must have been among one of so many people around the White House.

My school?

So far So good.  But this expression is not enought, as you know.

Jessica always teaches my students very kindly and enthusiastically like you taught them.

All the students including all staffs like her. Especially she even teaches challenged(a little disabled) students on the first floor.

You and she are the best teachers though you have no certificate as a teacher and much better than me.

On October 5 I god injured on my leg while I played volleyball like before, so I got a cast and had to walk with crutches.

During that time I have prepared for my ESPT test for England Institute.

Fortunately I passed the interview and had a chance to go to England for one month.

Maybe I seemed to talk about this to you. My wish is...

Acturally you and Jessica helped me a lot and I owe you many parts of it.

I really appreciate your help.

Oh, another exciting news.

My two studenst had a chance to go to New York to see a UN secretary.

He comes from our province and we have a English Contest in honor of him.

We got two winners, Yang Bohyun and Yang Jiwon this year.

I  could boast of our English Program in our community and they will go to New York this winter.

Frankly speaking, that award partly resulted from your lesson, I know.

Today my first son has a big day. That's because he has a test for becoming a math teacher.

I must be going for his pickup.

Amy, I'm sure  you can do everything if you wish.

Be happy all the time.

I'd like to see you in front of a moniter next time.

Take care until then...

I miss you very much.

Also I'm attaching my pictures these days.
